Please, don't move. My fingertips blaze as they pass over your skin, it hurts to touch you, to be with you .You see the pain in my eyes and do nothing to stop it .I move slowly, the burn increases, shoots up from every nerve of my fingertips races to my fore arm, up to my shoulder, across my collar bone and like lightning splits down into my chest. The oxygen escapes from my lungs;

I can't breathe.

Just before the tears begin to well in my eyes, you look away, releasing me from the agony .I shudder as the air floods back into the cold dark emptiness of my chest, my hand trembling ever so lightly on y

It seems like the whole world is about to bend.
The earth is shaking, is about of breaking,
Smiling, I look up ahead,
Maybe tomorrow is something we'll not get,

ConversationsSometimes, I swear, we seem to have nothing to talk about.
We're like a dry forest,
Dead and silent, but a single spark,
And we're up in flames.
There are days when I get the feeling we're carrying on two conversations.
You're talking about one thing,
Me another,
And we're just taking turns.
Most of the time though,
We talk constantly.
We never start conversations anymore.
We just start somewhere in the middle,
Or where we left off last,
And we both seem to know exactly what we're talking about.
I almost never have to explain myself,
You always seem to know what I'm saying,
Even if it's the random babble I have a habit of bl

Knight of SmilesI have no sword, no shield, no armor,
Yet I claim the title Knight,
The weapon does not make the man,
Nor doth the will to fight.

I was born with sword in heart,
My smile forged a shield,
This world can beat me 'til I bleed,
I still refuse to yield.

Honor is a dying trait,
As dead as chivalry,
But noble virtues never die,
Until I fail to breathe.

So hold your hate within your heart,
And throw it all at me,
My smile's welded to my face,

Still waters are long since gone
The two of us tread water
Embrace till we become one

I am the stronger swimmer

Not knowing you're the strong one

She wipes her tears to make herself strong
But its no use at all.
Everyone thinks she's happy
Everyone thinks she is perfectly fine.
But what they know is
the pain she feels
the tears she has cried
the cuts on her wrist

under her cover there is more torture then pleasure
and just past her lips there is more anger than laughter
she pretends to be happy

Are you struggling from pain, one of the fallen.
A warrior to the world, a defeated body full of pain on the inside.
A disruption in life, making you feel weak and vulnerable.
Treatment, a life extension, making you disappear for the world outside.

Medication given, not making it any better, the end is still near.
Another young life has fallen into the depths of endless agony.
Family is lost, not able to help, only to see their beloved ones wither away.
A lot of false hope floating through life, a scenery of unhumanity.

Cigarette burns are nothing new to my body

I've never been told to speak a word of my pain

Battle of Hearts,

When you're in love, things often go up and down,
You tell them to leave, and then you want them around.
We are all participating in this Battle of Hearts,
When your world stops, it will always restart.

I believe I've fallen in love before,
When Cupid came knocking at my door.
For the boy I loved was my dearest friend,
Such a terrible loss when it came to an end.

I still think the feeling has stayed with me,
Will it ever let me go? Let me become free?
Only time will decide, if my heart will heal,
Only then, Happiness will I truly feel.

So you see my friends, Love is there in your heart,
When one comes to an end, another shall start.
Don't dwell on the loss from your pain,
The feeling of love, you will always regain.

This poem is a lesson, in itself,
I used to have his picture on my shelf.
You don't need that boy, to make you smile,
A new one will come; I just have to wait a while.

Firstly, happy early valentines day. I say this because obviously this piece can be related to valentines day. Maybe it was written because of valentines day?
right the ratings!!!
Vision. Well it's easy to read, in blocks of four lines, which is really good. Sorry i gave you 3.5, i did this because this a very basic, but effective poem style.
Originality is a 4 because its a love poem, which is beautiful, but common so close to valentines day. However, the fact that it talks about the battle of love instead of the joy or happiness of love is quite original, and i haven't seen many poems like that

The rhyming is amazing and i personally LOVE rhyming. Thats why i gave technique a 4.5 out of 5. Plus, the writing has really good imagery in it,, which is cute

Impact is massive. The title made my want to read it straight away, as did the easy to read font and block style which i mentioned earlir. I'm in a good mood so 5

I actually really enjoyed this piece. It's going straight to my favourites
